Emergency Care and Hospitalization

Whether its 3:00 pm or 6:00 am, some problems cannot wait. We realize that emergency situations arise at any moment and when we least expect them. With our attitude of viewing all pets as our own, we make a point to be on-call 24/7 emergency care to existing clients for your pet emergencies. On the rare occasion when we are not available, please call the Prescott Area Emergency Animal Hospital at 928-778-1990. Any pets that need extra time with us can stay for continued support until they feel better.

Signs that your pet is experiencing an emergency include:

  • Breathing difficulty or choking
  • Ingesting toxic substances or foreign objects
  • Swollen abdomen
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Blood in diarrhea or vomiting
  • Vomiting more than 2 times
  • Indication of broken bones
  • Puncture wounds or lacerations
  • Severe injury such as impact with a vehicle
  • Convulsions, seizures, or unconsciousness

If your pet is showing any of these signs, we suggest calling ahead of time if possible so we can prepare for your arrival.

If your pet’s problem is a concern to you, it is a concern to us. Call at any time 24/7 emergency care to existing clients. With any pet emergency, please call the office at (928)-460-4211. If your call is an emergency dial one when prompted, otherwise dial 2 to leave a message.

We will always do our very best to practice outstanding veterinary care, communicate clearly, and earn your trust.
